European Union affairs, European
integration,or US-EU relations.

| VALUE |
Monthly stipend of $3,000, plus
a lump sum of € 2,000 for round-trip air transportation
and relocation costs (up to a maximum of € 30,000 per
grantee). Health and accident insurance and visa sponsorship
(J visa category) are also provided. |

WHERE TENABLE |
Two to four one-semester awards
for lecturing on EU affairs or U.S. - EU relations, integration,
and political economy at an accredited U.S. university. Successful
candidates will be placed in an appropriate institution.

| ELIGIBILITY |
Candidates must:
- be citizens of the EU;
- be professionals (decision makers, policy makers, individuals
in industry, the media, politics, academia and public
administration;
- have a doctoral degree or equivalent professional experience
and at least two years of professional experience before
before departure for the United States
- have academic/professional experience in at least two
different E.U. countries;
- have personal qualities, a proven level of academic
or professional excellence as well as outstanding records;
- be proficient in English.
Please note that current or retired officials of Community
institutions are not eligible to apply.

APPLICATION |
Final application forms duly completed
must reach the Commission for Educational Exchange between
the United States of America, Belgium and Luxemburg by March
1.
