The following link has an interactive search engine for all study abroad programs/options in Austria that IIE (Institute for International Education) has managed to record: http://www.iiepassport.org/.
In order to get a list of Joint-Study Programs and University agreements between Austrian and American universities there is a database online in German compiled by CIU (Centre International Universitaire): www.auslandskooperationen.at/. Click on the world map to open the database and then on “weiter” to access further search options. Select your target country – “Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika” as “Zielland” and press “Ergebnis anzeigen”. What will follow is a list of Austrian colleges of higher education and teacher training academies in the database.
There is an Austrian database for scholarship and research grants for international students, graduates and researchers from the Austrian Exchange Service (ÖAD): http://www.grants.at/.
CIES (Council for International Exchange of Scholars) operates a Catalogue for Awards to search for international academic grants: http://catalog.cies.org/.
