Comments: Grantee should be a scholar-teacher with interests in fields centrally associated with gender, women's and queer studies. The Alpen-Adria-Universitaet Klagenfurt is interested in scholars involved in theoretical and methodological issues and interdisciplinary approaches in one or more of the following fields: education, communication/media and cultural studies, English and American studies, German studies, history, literature, psychology and philosophy, informatics, information-management and/or information technology

Assignment: A flexible combination of teaching and research activities that entails at least two class sessions (90 minutes each) per week and may include advising or supervising advanced students. Format, content and level of the individual courses (advanced undergraduate and graduate) are negotiated with the host institution.
Benefits: Euro 4,360 per month, a travel grant of Euro 800 for the grantee only, health and accident insurance, and monthly allowances of Euro 145 per accompanying dependent (up to 3). The host institution will provide the professor with an assistant (max. 45 hours/semester). The host institution has reserved a furnished apartment for the grantee. Housing costs are paid by the grantee.
