Join us for a celebration of our 75th anniversary in the US!

Fulbright Austria warmly invites alums, current program participants, partner institutions, friends, and members of the international-education and scientific communities in the US to a celebratory reception marking our 75th anniversary in partnership with the Austrian Embassy Washington and the Austrian Cultural Forum Washington. This milestone evening at the Austrian embassy will include remarks from key members of the Fulbright Austria community, including our executive director and a representative of the 2025 Alum Advisory Panel. Join us for an evening of informal networking and light refreshments—an opportunity to reflect on seven and a half decades of academic, scientific, and cultural exchange between Austria and the United States.

Admission, registration, and security

A valid photo ID is required for entry into the embassy.

Registration is essential—spaces are limited. Please secure your spot by 10:00 EDT/16:00 CET on 4 July 2025 using the form below.

Please note that your registration details will be shared with the Austrian Embassy Washington to comply with entry requirements.

Logistics

By car: Complimentary parking along International Court is available after 18:00 for the duration of the event. Additional street parking on 36th Street (entrance via parking area behind the embassy).

By public transportation: The nearest metro station is Van Ness–UDC (Red Line), within short walking distance.
