Our annual tradition of celebrating “Thank Fulbright – Thanksgiving” on Giving Tuesday continues! Giving Tuesday is a special initiative for people around the world to come together to give back. Thank Fulbright – Thanksgiving is an evening that brings together alums, partners, and friends of Fulbright Austria to celebrate the successes of the last year, rekindle memories of previous years, and cast an eye toward the future. Donation drive
Our annual Giving Tuesday donation drive—our “Full of thanks.” season—and registration for our annual Thank Fulbright – Thanksgiving event open on 1 October 2025. During this season, our loyal community comes together to raise over €10,000 in donations to support future program participants with travel and relocation allowances, bring together community members, and create new opportunities for individuals to study, teach, and pursue research in the US and Austria!
What’s more, if you donate to the Fulbright Austria Opportunity Fund in Austria or to the Artsraising Fund in the US or Austria, your donation will have double the impact thanks to generous matching funds from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and from an anonymous donor, respectively. Thank Fulbright – 7hank5giving dinner
Donors who contribute €125–249 per person to Fulbright Austria between 1 October and 2 December 2025 are invited to join us on 2 December for a traditional meal at our Thank Fulbright – 7hank5giving dinner—but please bear in mind that space is limited, and registrations submitted using the form below will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
With an extra donation of €125–249, you can also sponsor a current US student, scholar or teaching assistant so that they can have a taste of home while abroad.
