To launch the Fulbright Austria Alum Chapter Tyrol, the chapter's founders have organized an engaging and interactive event that blends outdoor activities, storytelling, and reflection while also aligning with the celebration of 75 years of the Fulbright Program in Austria. The event will foster community among alums and current program participants, providing an opportunity to explore the scenic beauty of Tyrol while sharing personal experiences.

Program

• Light hike in a scenic location
• Moderated storytelling session
• Shared lunch at an Almhütte

The endpoint of the hike is a typical Tyrolean Almhütte, or Alpine hut/cabin, where attendees will enjoy lunch together in a cozy, informal setting ideal for conversation, networking, and building connections. Attendees will also be invited to share short personal stories out surprising cultural lessons learned, unplanned connections made, and moments that have had a lasting impact on their personal lives and careers.
