As the program year draws to a close, many program participants find themselves wondering what comes next. Will the next step in their academic and professional development be in the same field as their research project or teaching assignment, or will their life journey take them in a new direction in a new field? And if they do go in a new direction, which skills will be transferable? Whether you're at the end of your program year or many years into your post-Fulbright career, these are questions many of us have asked ourselves along the way. 

Fulbright Austria alum Alex Ellison—who taught English in Austria as part of the USTA Program before pivoting in a different direction—will lead the workshop, during which you'll dive into these questions and learn how to determine what your interests and skills are and how to assess which career paths fit well with the various skills and interests you've developed along the way. No matter where in your career you are, if you're looking for the tools you need to help you better understand where you are and where you should be going, this workshop will pique your interest.
