Marion Adams recently graduated from Bard College in upstate New York. She grew up in San Diego, California, but has also spent considerable time abroad. In the fifth grade, her family moved to Israel for a year. Marion's first experience living in a foreign country without her family was an exchange year in Wuppertal, Germany. During this year she learned German while living with a host mom and attending Gymnasium. Marion continued her language learning in college, where she majored in German studies and philosophy. And in her junior year she studied abroad at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. During her time at college she also played on the women’s lacrosse team and taught ESL. She very much looks forward to living, teaching, and studying in Austria.
