Kevin Lansey is a professor in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering and Mechanics (CAEM) at the University of Arizona. He served as CAEM department head for 10 years. His research expertise is in the application of systems analysis approaches including optimization and uncertainty analysis to water resources problems. Dr. Lansey’s interests are related to water supply resilience and planning, water/energy links, and water distribution systems design, operation, and monitoring. His expertise on water modeling covers a range of systems including water distribution, surface hydrology, and groundwater. He has published over 100 journal articles, 10 book chapters and two textbooks. Kevin has won the ASCE Huber Award for Young Researchers, three teaching awards, and two best paper awards.
