Nolan Winters is from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He studied at American University in Washington, DC, and graduated with a BA in international relations and a minor in German studies.

He is a cultural enthusiast with a deep sense of curiosity. His affinity for other cultures dates back to sixth grade, when he took his first German language class. It continued throughout high school as he took Japanese language classes and traveled to Turkey with his high school Social Justice Academy. At American University, he continued his German studies, studied abroad in Munich, Germany, and took introductory Russian courses. His passion for learning about different cultures has transformed into a passion for sharing US culture to facilitate a mutual understanding among people of different countries.

Nolan is very excited to work with Austrian students to not only improve their English-language skills, but also better understand US culture and the great diversity therein.
