Katherine was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and studied psychology and German studies at Boston College until 2018. Over the past year, she has worked in clinical psychology research at the Trauma Center at JRI studying complex trauma in adolescents and as a Health Policy Fellow at The Fenway Institute of Fenway Health. During the 2019–20 program year, she will study health policy and practice for gender minorities in the Austrian health care system in partnership with the University of Graz and Rechtskomitee Lambda. She is excited to bring her research to Austria, to learn more about Austrian culture, and, in particular, to try all the food.
