Thomas Feingold is a recent graduate of Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, with majors in politics & international affairs and German studies. Outside of the classroom, he participated in a wide variety of work and internship experiences, practicing business immigration law in a large firm, managing case intake for a legal nonprofit in his hometown of Charleston, tutoring and advising fellow students at Furman, and interacting with children through work as a swim coach, lifeguard, and camp counselor. He also studied abroad in Berlin, Germany, though the trip ended prematurely due to COVID-19.
Thomas is thrilled to have the opportunity to return to Europe and teach English in Austria this year. He values the chance to share not only his language knowledge with his students but also his experiences and culture, and he looks forward to learning from his students and gaining new perspectives as well. After spending time abroad, he hopes to return to the United States to pursue a career in international immigration law, fostering economic and cultural connections that transcend national borders.
