Haleigh Drew is a recent graduate of Boston University with majors in philosophy and linguistics. Initially from New Hampshire, Haleigh had limited exposure to foreign-language education growing up. In college, she wanted to further her understanding of English-language mechanics and also completed coursework in German and Spanish. Her interest in this Austrian program was ironically cultivated in 2018 while volunteering at a Gymnasium in Peine, Germany, for four months. After this experience, Haleigh was curious to learn more about Austria and to decide for herself which side of this age-old rivalry she was on! Haleigh is excited to be immersed in Austrian culture while helping students improve their English. In her free time, she enjoys running, true-crime podcasts, and drinking hot chocolate in any of Styria’s wonderful cafés."
