Bettina Schnögl is an Austrian speech and language pathologist currently pursuing her master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her work focuses on the evaluation of predictors of literacy among multilingual children and the identification of developmental influences such as the home learning environment. Bettina previously worked at the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Department of the Klagenfurt Regional Hospital (Klinikum Klagenfurt am Woerthersee), where she specialized in language, voice, and swallowing disorders. She is thrilled about the research possibilities within the multicultural framework of New York City.
