Berit Gwendolyn Gilma is a critical artist, curator, writer, and activist based in Los Angeles and Berlin. With works in the nexus of art, politics, and technology, she is currently focusing on machine ethics and the aesthetics of secrecy.

She holds a BA in visual communication from the University of the Arts in Berlin, studied at The New School in New York City, and was a visiting scholar at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. As a Fulbright student, Berit is pursuing her MFA degree at UCLA.
