We are full of pride and happy to announce that the US consular and diplomatic staff will be marching with the Diplomats for Equality (DfE) in the 2023 Rainbow Parade (Regenbogenparade)—and they’ve extended an invitation for Fulbright Austria program participants and alums to join them!

The parade, which this year will pass along Vienna’s Ringstrasse for the 27th time, is the biggest annual demonstration in Austria for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer people.

Please note that while the official start of the parade is 13:00, you’ll need to arrive earlier if you are participating. If you would like to join your fellow Fulbright Austria community members in marching with the DfE, please register by 15 June. After registration closes, we will send you an email with the exact starting position and meeting time. Please bear in mind that spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
