Jordan Wulz, associate professor of pharmacy practice at Concordia University Wisconsin and the 2025–26 Fulbright-Paracelsus Medical University Visiting Professor, is cooperating with his host institution to organize a two-day workshop entitled "Reducing Harm from Drug Use in Policy and in Practice."
This intensive two-day Erasmus+ program bridges the gap between scientific evidence, public health policy, and clinical practice in harm reduction. Designed for professionals, students, researchers, and NGO leaders, the curriculum moves systematically from theory to application. Participants will begin by analysing comparative European drug policies and participating in advanced clinical skill-building through overdose management simulations (day 1). The program culminates in a focus on advocacy and strategic design (day 2), where attendees collaborate to develop harm reduction intervention proposals. Through expert keynotes, hands-on workshops, and implementation science labs, this program will empower participants to translate complex evidence into life-saving community action.
Whether you have an advanced understanding of the topic, are learning the basics related to the topic, or fall somewhere in between, we hope you'll join PMU and Jordan as the delve into the workshop's intense program. Please note that registration is required and that there are costs associated with attendance. Please use the link below to learn more about the workshop and to register to attend.
