Yuliya Lanina, assistant professor of practice in the Department of Arts and Entertainment Technologies at the University of Texas at Austin and a 2020–21 Fulbright-Q21/MuseumsQuartier Artist-in-Residence, will present “Gefilte Fish,” a collection of ink drawings and a short animation in progress based on her drawings. Yuliya has been developing the project “Gefilte Fish” during her two-month residency at Q21’s Tricky Women / Tricky Realities, exploring intergenerational trauma of the Holocaust.
