Every year, Fulbright Austria works with Nathalie Goldstein, the CEO of MyExpatTaxes, to organize a workshop for US citizens focused on filing US taxes while abroad. US citizens are required to file taxes even while abroad, and their filings should include any grant monies and foreign income received. However, the need to include their Fulbright grants in their tax filings is something many US citizens overlook.

Our online workshop aims to inform US program participants about these filing requirements and to provide them with tips on how to file their taxes as Fulbrighters abroad. The workshop is free of charge, and all attendees will be able to ask questions following our expert’s presentation. What’s more, attendees receive a code so that if they decide they would rather have a professional help them instead of doing their taxes themselves, they can do so at a reduced rate. This year, the webinar will be led by Milena Paytakov, the senior tax team manager at MyExpatTaxes. We look forward to seeing you there!
