Fulbright Austria’s US Fulbright Student Program offers opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to study, research, teach, and engage in community service. We are committed to creating opportunities in a wide range of disciplines, including the sciences, humanities, and arts. In addition to Austrian and US governmental funding, partner institutions and foundations as well as private donors contribute to fund these opportunities.
Following the Austrian government’s recent revision of the Mach grant levels, which provide guidance for Fulbright Austria grant levels, Fulbright Austria has retroactively raised the 2022–23 US Fulbright students’ grant levels to a minimum of €1,150 per month to ensure the current cohort enjoys the newly raised standard. Furthermore, the Austrian government has already adjusted the Mach levels for the next program year, allowing Fulbright Austria to further increase grant levels for all non-degree-seeking US Fulbright students to €1,250 per month for the 2023–24 program year.
