What does it mean to study at university? For a first-generation student, the answer to this question will differ compared to someone whose family has attended university for generations. In this panel discussion, we spoke to three Austrian Fulbright students who were the first people in their families to complete a university degree. They discuss their experiences at university, describe the hurdles that they had to surmount, and explain the future they would like to build and the ways in which they would like to give back to their respective communities.
The discussion is in German with English and German subtitles.
