Introducing the representatives of the Fulbright Austria Alum Chapter Styria

Three Fulbright Austria alums start their second term as chapter representatives.

In 2021, three Fulbright Austria alums in Styria came together to start Fulbright Austria’s first alum chapter. The chapter aims to promote mutual understanding, cooperation, and knowledge transfer between Austria and the United States by creating activities that advance this mission and to build meaningful relationships with Fulbright’s current and future program participants, alums, and local community members in the Austrian province of Styria. The chapter does not collect annual dues and is free to the Fulbright Austria alum community.

We would like to thank the Fulbright Austria Alum Chapter Styria for its continued support and to introduce the representatives of the chapter to the community:

Since it was founded, the Styria chapter has organized a discussion with 2006–07 Fulbright-University of Klagenfurt Distinguished Chair in Gender Studies Christopher Kilmartin entitled “The Fictions that Shape Men’s Lives” and a book presentation with Anastasija Lyubova and 2019 Fulbright Specialist Marjorie Agosín, who presented Roberta Maierhofer’s book Home, (Be)Longing, and Identity in Imagined Landscapes.
