Katharina Hütthaler graduated with an MA in German studies from the University of Graz in 2019. Her master’s thesis focused on teaching and learning with texts in bilingual science classrooms. In pursuit of her passion for languages and international higher education, she participated in the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA) Program at the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University in Minnesota during the 2018–19 program year. After returning to Austria in 2019, she helped Fulbright Austria as a recruiting volunteer at education fairs until 2021.
