Fulbright-Freud Visiting Scholar Eric Anderson (Rhode Island School of Design) held a short talk for Fulbrighters and alumni, who then enjoyed a private tour of the Sigmund Freud Museum's special exhibition "'The Apartment is Doing Well:” The Freuds at Berggasse 19." The exhibition focuses on the private life of the Freud family at their home in Vienna and includes letters, original objects and photographs that tell of an eventful family history that took place there for almost half a century. Eric Anderson is working on a research project entitled “Sigmund Freud, Interior Decorator,” which reevaluates the Berggasse interiors in the light of nineteenth-century theories of color and the mind. He is also teaching a seminar on design and psychology at Die Angewandte.
