During the 2023–24 program year, Sophia Reitspies was a Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant, or FLTA, at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. For an academic year, Sophia worked as an FLTA and had the opportunity to teach German while simultaneously also taking courses at the university. At the end of her FLTA year, Sophia talked to us about her experience as a Fulbright FLTA and her impressions of life in the US.
