During the 2023–24 program year, David Lautner worked as a Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant, or FLTA, at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, as part of the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program, or FLTA Program. As an FLTA, he spent an academic year in Maine, where he taught German as a foreign language and attended university courses. At the end of his year, we met up with him to learn more about his Fulbright experience in the US.
