Did you know that the Jewish Museum Vienna's new special exhibition, "Trude und Elvis. Wien – Memphis – Hollywood," has a Fulbright connection? James Forsher, a film scholar and filmmaker based in Seattle, WA, was a Fulbright Specialist at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt in 2015. During his time in Austria, James also collaborated with Austrian director Kurt Langbein on the documentary" Elvis and the Girl From Vienna/Elvis und das Mädchen aus Wien," a film about his mother Trude Forsher, who fled Vienna in 1939 and eventually became Elvis Presley’s secretary and helped shape the early years of his career.
