On January 30, 2020, Fulbright Austria program participants put on their ball gowns and tuxedos and spent the night dancing at Vienna’s Hofburg. The ball is an annual highlight in the Fulbright Austria calendar, and many journeyed to Vienna from the other Austrian provinces in order to attend.

The next day, partygoers once again came together, this time for brunch at Café Leopold. After a night of dancing, the delicious food was just what the doctor ordered, and program participants were able to offer their heartfelt thanks in person to Drs. Christine Schwarz and Lothar Hofmann, who facilitated ball tickets for our students and teaching assistants on behalf of Austrian Fulbright Alumni.
