NAWI Graz and Fulbright Austria have successfully collaborated since 2010, when they invited the first Fulbright-NAWI Graz Visiting Professor to Austria under the auspices of the US Fulbright Scholar Program. This productive and successful exchange has led to the conclusion of a new joint-project: NAWI Graz and Fulbright Austria are excited to launch the Fulbright-NAWI Graz Role Models Program.
The Fulbright-NAWI Graz Role Models Program is modeled after the Fulbright Specialist Program, which pairs highly qualified US academics and professionals with Austrian host institutions to share their expertise, strengthen institutional ties, gain international experience, and learn about Austrian culture while building capacity at their Austrian host institution. Specialists are competitively selected to join the Fulbright Specialist Roster based on their knowledge, skill sets, and ability to make a significant contribution to their host institution. NAWI Graz is a comprehensive strategic cooperation between University of Graz and TU Graz in natural sciences and focuses on joint activities in research, teaching, organization, and cross-sectional topics, as for instance gender projects. The Fulbright-NAWI Graz Role Model will be invited by NAWI Graz for a short-term collaboration in Graz as a fully field-funded Specialist.
