I learned:
- something essential about the people of the U.S.A
- other and better ways of handling some environmental issues (legal and otherwise)
- pragmatic problem solving to trust the "No problem" attitude
- a lot about me and my home country
I won American and international friends. I shared exciting and often wonderful cross-cultural experiences. I became a friend of the American people which does not hinder me to be sometimes critical of some US political decisions. I feel gratitude for the largesse my US fellowships granted me.
