My story is no extraordinary one, it's a quite normal story. In 2011 I decided to spent some research and teaching month in the US where I already had been some years before with a Max Kade grant. So I looked around and after having seen the new Botstiber Program linked with the Fulbright program I realized that to be a very good opportunity to carry on some projects in the field of Austro-American studies in the first decades of the 20th century.
In fact, I was very happy when I got the Fulbright grant and spent a successful time at UVM, getting in contact with some extraordinary colleagues, visiting friends, doing research and giving lecture talks also in Boston and Chicago.
