The day I decided to apply for a Fulbright scholarship was truly among the top decisions affecting my life. It laid the foundation to my academic success – my PhD thesis work at Harvard University, a PhD “sub auspiciis praesidentis,” then a career in Swiss, German and American research-based global life science and consumer goods companies, living and working in four continents, and now, back in my home city Vienna (Austria), to running my own international consultancy. In hindsight, with 20/20 Vision :), the Fulbright scholarship program laid the foundation to it all.
Dr. Reinhard A. Schellner received his PhD at the University of Vienna and was an Austrian Fulbright Student at Harvard University, Massachusetts, in 1979–80.
