In honor of Pride Month, Fulbright Austria and the Diplomatic Academy are partnering on an event to amplify some of the important academic research happening in Austria and the United States on LGBTQIA+ issues. This engagement will serve as an opportunity for two US students to celebrate and support Pride Month by bringing their uniquely informed perspectives on LGBTQIA+ issues into the public sphere and reinforcing accurate narratives about the historical experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals. The program will include two short presentations on current LGBTQIA+-focused academic research followed by a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A. After the Q&A, an informal reception with light refreshments will provide an opportunity for continued discussion. This event is open to the public, but space is limited, and an RSVP is required. Please use the form below to register by 14:00 CET on Friday, 31 May.
Join us for presentations about two young researchers' projects on the LGBTQIA+ community.
