Jeffrey Engel, professor of history and the David Gergen Director of the Center for Presidential History at Southern Methodist University as well as the 2024–25 Fulbright-Diplomatic Academy Visiting Professor of International Studies, is giving a public lecture entitled "Seeking Monsters to Destroy: How America Goes to War." The event will be moderated by Thomas Row, professor of history at the Diplomatische Akademie Wien – Vienna School of International Studies.
