We are excited to announce that we will offer the “Fulbright Specialist in the Arts” award beginning with the 2024–25 academic year. This new opportunity for US citizens to come to Austria encourages Austrian institutions to host grantees from all fields in the arts, including fine arts, performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, and arts management.
To make this co-sponsored award possible, Fulbright Austria is launching a new "Artsraising" initiative for a long-term restricted fund. The donations raised will be used to augment the grant for a US Fulbright Specialist in the Arts and pay for their round-trip international travel.

A generous anonymous donation of $43,000 is available to match your contribution, giving your gift twice the impact. Transnational contribution to the Austrian-American Educational Commission are tax deductible for US citizens if they are made via the Institute of International Education (IIE), which will issue donors a 501z(c)(3) receipt.
