Fulbright Austria is pleased to invite current program participants, alums, partners, and friends to the first of two webinars we are hosting as part of our “70 years of bright minds.” celebrations.
Join us as we host a panel discussion entitled “US teaching assistants going into Austrian classrooms: Bringing language and cultural education." Moderated by 2006–07 Austrian Fulbright student Michael Huber, the panel of esteemed alums of the US Teaching Assistantship program as well as representatives of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF), the US Embassy Vienna, and Austrian schools will explore the benefits native speakers bring to the Austrian secondary-education system and their contributions to promote mutual understanding between the peoples of Austria and the US.
This exciting event is free of charge and includes a Q&A session at the end. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. We look forward to discussing the benefits US teaching assistants bring to Austrian classrooms with our panelists and community. If you have any questions, please contact Mitch Sims, our alumni relations manager.
