Annual Conference of the Austrian Studies Association, March 14.-17, 2016

The Austrian Studies Association is holding its annual conference in Vienna this week! Fulbright Austria is pleased to be co-sponsoring the event (along with Universität Wien, OeAD, Wien Museum, Austrian Cultural Forum New York, U.S. Embassy Vienna and the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation) and to welcome the many alumni who will be participating in "Österreich – USA Künstlerischer und interkultureller Dialog" over the next four days.

Halls renew support for Fulbright-Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship in Austria

The Craig and Kathryn Hall Foundation has extended its support for the Fulbright-Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship in Central Europe at the WU – Vienna University of Economics and Business with an award of $ 150,000 for an additional three years: 2016-17 to 2018-19.

Fulbright Austria is pleased to announce that Keith Kovach, the 2015 Fulbright-Q21/MQ Artist-in-Residence from the University of Central Florida, has published a book entitled “Vienna in the Winter: A Visceral Experience of Time and Place" based on images he created during his grant from Fulbright Austria and Q21/Museumsquartier.

Botstiber Foundation Extends Funding for Fulbright-Botstiber Scholar Awards

The Austrian-American Educational Commission is pleased to announce the board of the Dietrich W. Botstiber Foundation’s Institute for Austrian-American Studies has awarded the Austrian Fulbright Commission $ 120,000 to extend funding for Austrian and American Fulbright-Botstiber Scholar awards for an additional three years.

LLM Fair in Vienna November 10, 2015

We were pleased to host part of the first EducationUSA LLM tour in Western Europe on November 10, 2015! The LLM Fair at the Juridicum Wien provided an opportunity for local students to meet representatives from 20 US law schools; and, in turn, enabled US representatives to meet highly qualified and motivated European students.
